One of the
most exciting and challenging educational experiences available to you
as an undergraduate at Florida Atlantic University is being a member of
the University Scholars Program.
The
University Scholars Program is the Honors Program at the Boca Raton
Campus of Florida Atlantic University. It has been designed to provide
students with exceptional and rewarding learning opportunities through
special Honors Seminars, the University Scholars
SLS 1501 -
Introduction to Academic Life, Honors
sections of Freshman courses and the option of taking more advanced
courses to substitute for first-year required courses. The advantages of
the University Scholars Program include small class size, close contact
with many of the Universitys top ranked faculty, as well as special
advising/registration.
For students
whose academic plans include post-baccalaureate study either in graduate
school, law or medical schools, or other professional education, the
University Scholars Program is an excellent beginning for a
distinguished academic career.
The goal of
the University Scholars Program at Florida Atlantic University is not
only to provide an education that will successfully prepare you for
whatever career you choose, but also to give you a learning experience that
will prepare you to continue your education throughout your life.
