The
University Scholars Program is the University Honors Program at Florida
Atlantic University's Boca Raton campus. It is designed to provide
special opportunities to academically successful students who are
committed to excellence and motivated in exploring above and beyond the
normal range of a college education.
The Program was created in
1991 as the Lower Division Honors Program, and in 2002 the name was
changed to the University Scholars Program. Since its creation over 250
students have successfully completed the Program and have gone on to
successfully earn their undergraduate degrees. Many have gone on
to further their education in graduate and professional schools.
